What Will You Learn?
his program teaches young students to be comfortable in and around the water, and to develop forward movement through the water using both the arms and the legs.
What Will You Do?
- An active status Level 1 Swim Teacher or higher must directly supervise all in-water activities.
After demonstrating mastery of the skills listed in the Level 1 Swim Teacher Instructor Manual, the student may advance to:
- Beginner I, if they turn six (6) years old before advancing.
- Beginner II
Course Prerequisites
Age:
- 4-5 years old.
- Demonstrated mastery of the skills for Preschool I.
Equipment Requirements
During all in-water training sessions, each student must be equipped with a properly fitted Total Swim System that includes:
- Swim Suit
- Skin and sun exposure protection appropriate to the environment
